ABOUT ADMISSIONS
Choosing an educational institution is a major decision for any family. McClelland College takes the time to get to know any student who intends to enrol. The process for enrolling is to call the College on 97894544 to speak to the enrolment officer, where information can be collected to set up a meeting with an Assistant Principal. The completion of an enrolment form is required as part of the enrolment process and this will be provided at the enrolment meeting with the relevant Assistant Principal. The College prefers to commence new students at the beginning of Semester 1 and 2 to minimise disruption to incoming students and the established learning programs. It must also be noted that the College runs a Head-Start Program which means the new school year starts mid-November.
McClelland College School Zone
Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au. Findmyschool.vic.gov.au hosts the most up-to-date information about Victorian school zones for 2020 onwards.
Students residing in this zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address. You can still request enrolment at McClelland College even though we are not your designated neighbourhood school.
The Department provides guidance through the School Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and the freedom to choose other schools, subject to facility limitations.
You can find more information and answers to frequently asked questions on the Department’s website under School zones.
